IN THE WORLD we live in now, survival is victory. And i'm not talking about surviving wars, or earthquakes, or epidemics, but
getting through an average day to day work. Our world which is constantly
changing, shrinking and always in hurry, and where the presence of technology
changes people behavior. It is kind of difficult to describe change in people
behavior. If i am talking about ‘changing behavior’ in this article, i do
not mean etiquette. i am talking about basic behaviors. May following
guidelines help you further to bring out some change in our behavior as we
commonly face them together.
It Happens when we are in queue at metro station to check
out we commonly face people usually push each other so that they can win this
battle to get out as early as possible. You are in a queue at a supermarket
checkout counter and out of blue, some lady come out of way and dumps her
groceries in front of the clerk. Profusely ignoring everyone bitter reaction. These
kind of situation we commonly face at different space. And in return our
response is we try to tempt that person in callously to get back in queue as
others are also waiting.
Try This Instead avoid rudeness but do not keep silent either,
it would mean that you are contributing to this behavior. Use an authoritative
voice and be an offender while keeping yourself calm. Just remember line
cutting Is done because of emergency.
It Happens when we think we will catch up on our friends
and family lives. Just to learn what in there is going on. Than we see they all
are busy checking their phone, taking calls and messages or just browsing
facebook and completely forgetting you are there waiting. We feel like yelling
‘Me! me! I’m here.
Try This Instead we need to remember that people turn to devices
not intentionally but it is now human nature now. Try to have a conversation
with them, say ‘that you miss their company’. The phone should not be part of
your life. Family time is family time, try to off it.
This Happens when we are in street thinking, pleasant
thought. And then we see people urinating. We feel like, sweeping them with
giant broom. People act bleak because of their education or upbringing. Even when it comes to spitting, littering or scratching, in a
lot of cases people do it simply because everyone else does so, and no one
taught them it was wrong.
Lets Accept our mistake We're
all guilty of at least one of the behaviours mentioned here at some point.
We've justified it-we were in a hurry, or desperate, or just not paying
attention. We've felt bad, but we've gone with it, resolving to try better next
time. And that's fine.
